Who this policy covers
This policy covers the AzangooPlus app for iPhone and the website at azangooplus.com. The app has no user account. You do not sign in, and you do not give us a name or an email to use the prayer features.
Location
Location is used only on the device to calculate prayer times and the Qibla, and it does not require the internet. You can pick a city from the list or drop a pin on the map. That coordinate stays in the app so times and the Qibla can be calculated offline. We do not sell location, and we do not use it to build an advertising profile.
Sensors
The Qibla uses the compass and motion sensors. The rakah counter uses the proximity sensor to notice when the phone is close to you during sujud. Those readings stay on the device and are not uploaded as a history of your prayers.
Notifications and background audio
If you allow notifications, the app schedules local notifications for the Adhan, for reminders, and for calendar events you turned on. Playback of the Adhan can continue in the background. Notification text is produced on the phone from the times it calculated.
Firebase
The iPhone app uses Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, and Firebase Cloud Messaging, provided by Google. Analytics records general usage of the app. Crashlytics records crash reports so we can fix failures. Cloud Messaging provides a token so the phone can receive push notifications. These services process data under Google terms. They are not used to sell your prayer times.
Website analytics
This website may use Google Analytics to understand which pages are visited. That measurement runs in the browser and is separate from the location used inside the iPhone app. If analytics is not configured for a build of this site, the analytics script is not loaded.
What we do not do
We do not sell personal information. We do not ask you to create an account. We do not knowingly collect information from children. The app is a general-purpose prayer tool and is not directed at children under 13.
Retention and deletion
Prayer settings, the chosen city, and counters live on your iPhone. Removing the app deletes them from the device. Crash reports and analytics events already sent to Firebase remain according to the Firebase project retention. To ask about data held in those reports, write to support@azangooplus.com.
