Traveler’s Prayer: Your Smart Companion on Every Journey
Travel with peace of mind and understand how to pray according to your journey and your school of Islamic law.
When traveling, knowing whether to pray in full or shorten your prayers is not always straightforward. The required travel distance, city boundaries, hometown, intention to travel, and length of stay can all affect the ruling.
With its smart Traveler’s Prayer feature, AzangooPlus helps you review your travel circumstances without complicated calculations and understand the prayer ruling according to your chosen religious authority or school of Islamic law.
Smart Calculation of Religious Travel Distance
Travel distance is not always the straight line between two points on a map.
By examining your route and city boundaries, AzangooPlus helps you calculate the relevant travel distance more accurately and see whether your journey meets the threshold set by your school of Islamic law.
Rulings Based on Your Religious Authority or School
Rules for travelers’ prayers can differ among Shia religious authorities and Sunni schools of Islamic law.
AzangooPlus takes these differences into account and evaluates your journey under your selected authority or school, helping you find guidance that reflects your religious practice.
Review Your Travel and Stay
The ruling on travelers’ prayers depends on more than distance. Your intention, hometown, planned stay, and changes to your travel plans can also affect the outcome.
By entering your trip and stay details, you can better understand when your prayers should be shortened or offered in full, and how a change of plans may affect the ruling.
Travel Peacefully, Worship with Greater Confidence
Our goal is to make it easier to understand prayer rulings while traveling, so you can focus on worship with greater awareness and peace of mind.
AzangooPlus — with you on your journey, with you in worship.
